What is Acro?Acro is a subdivision of gymnastics. It focuses on flexibility, strength, and control to perform tricks, balances, and tumbling. It focuses more on body contortion and tricks that defy the center of gravity, whereas gymnastics is more in a straight line.

**Acro can be taken without a ballet requirement. However, you will not be able to move up in levels unless you enroll in the Turns & Leaps class. ** Competition acro: ballet is required. |
A2J has strict guidelines with regards to shoes and attire permitted at each level in the classroom. Consult the A2J Crew Handbook for guidelines or contact the studio with any specific questions. We have a team store where shoes and dance attire can be purchased.
