Whether you know it or not, you see jazz all over the place, from television shows and movies to music videos and commercials. Many people love to watch jazz dancers because the dance moves and techniques are fun and energetic! Big leaps and quick turns are encompassed in this style of dance. To excel, jazz dancers need a background in ballet/technique, which we incorporate into classes or offer an additional class too! Grace and balance is encouraged in this area and jazz is such a fun style and mix between hip hop, contemporary, and ballet, as there are over five types of jazz!
